Welcome to Hawkhurst Pre-school 

Hawkhurst Pre-school provides a happy, nurturing environment for children aged 2-4.

Set within the pretty village of Hawkhurst in the grounds of Hawkhurst Church of England Primary School, our superbly equipped building and large outside space allows us to provide for children aged from 2 to 4 years with the very best introduction to learning.

The staff are all highly qualified and motivated making the children our number one priority; we aim to create a calm and gentle atmosphere where each child’s well-being and happiness can thrive. Early Years Practitioners encourage children to praise others, listen and take turns, be kind, honest and have empathy, giving them a sense of belonging to the pre-school.

All children are treated as individuals and we aim to make them confident in themselves and their ability to achieve and experience a positive start to learning.

Each day includes fun and exciting play based activities that nurture the children’s curiosity and critical thinking, including Forest School activities, camp fires and cooking outside.

Above all we aim for fun and laugher while learning as they play.
